Recently one review and one interview from 2016 Young Ag Professionals (YAP) Winter Conference show were published, here are some bits:
The group shared a few of their songs they had written recently with the promise of an upcoming album (release date is TBA).
They concluded their concert with a song that defines not only their family, but many of the young ag professionals sitting in that room watching. Why I Farm was written by The Henningsens to complement the Beck’s Hybrids Why I Farm campaign. It’s an emotional song that really captures heart and soul of the American farmer.

You can learn so many things growing up on a farm; you learn to be patient when you don’t want to be. My advice is don’t give up. Sometimes you’re three feet away in the mine from striking gold and you quit. You’re so close and don’t ever know until you do it.
THF website was launched four years ago today! Although it took a few months to plan and design, it was officially online on December 11th, 2011. During these four years the site had more than 26k visits and eventually served as starting point for all the other social media network.
The Henningsens played a festive show on December 6th live at the Virginia Theater, along with other guests including Drew Fredrickson, Vince Elam, No Secret, Cliff and Kristy Stoker, Dry Creek Station, Rena Day, Steve Schmidt, La Familia Aguirre, and the Champaign Central High School Snares. You can read a short piece about the show and see some pictures here.
